Rex Mundi Cuvée Cathare 2016 2016
Award Winner
Concours des Vins Lyon
Silver Medal – 2018 FR
Black as sin and totally irresistible: Rex Mundi is a decadent, lip-staining discovery. Made from fabulously intense Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache grapes grown on craggy peaks in southern France, this devilishly tempting new find is from master Hervé Sabardeil.
It was way down in these inhospitable rocky hills (back in the Middle Ages), that the Cathars lived in awe of the evil god of chaos, Rex Mundi. He corrupted the faithful with promises of earthly pleasures ... you’ll succumb, too, after one sip of this dark, spicy red.
