Red Earth Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Cabernet Sauvignon (aka our planet’s favorite red grape) thrives in the iron oxide-rich, terra rossa soils of Australia. These soils bear a striking resemblance to the surface of Mars – perhaps giving us a clue as to what should be planted in the first Martian vineyard?
Produced in honor of National Geographic’s MARS series, Red Earth was crafted with perfectly ripe, rich Cabernet Sauvignon from South Eastern Australia. The heart of Aussie winemaking, the region boasts a concentration of 100-plus-year-old vines and blisteringly hot summers, which combine to yield wines of seriously intense flavors.
You’re in for exactly that in the glass: Red Earth ripples with sumptuous blackberry, black currant, and attractive spice notes, plus a finish that lasts light years. Whether you’re enjoying it on Earth or in outer space, it’ll shine alongside hearty barbecue dishes, roasted meats, and more.
