Finca Los Trinos Rioja Joven 2018
Award Winner
Wines from Spain Awards
Top 100 Medal – 2019 GB
Every now and then, you open a wine so good, you can almost hear birds singing after that very first sip.
Such may be the case for this juicy, fruit-forward Rioja (Spain’s premier region) and the renowned Martínez Bujanda family. They’ve crafted wine in Rioja for over 100 years, and preeminent critic Robert Parker calls their wines “one of Spain’s great red wine bargains.”
Named after the estate’s abundant birdlife, Finca Los Trinos (‘the trills’) earned a coveted spot on the Wine From Spain Awards’ Top 100 list. Made with estate-grown Tempranillo, it was left unoaked to allow its vibrant, summer-berry and plum flavors to shine.
